Coco may not necessarily be the first villager players think of when pointing out the cutest characters in Animal Crossing. However, chances are that every animal villager that has appeared in the series has fans, and Coco is no different. While some find her spooky-looking or even frightening, players like this creative fan see an adorable rabbit that they're happy to have in their town, or even their real-world home.

Animal Crossing fan Tessa_71 shared their creation of a custom keycap that took the place of an escape key on the keyboard. Cast in clear resin, a tiny figure of Coco can be seen inside the keycap, surrounded by painted foliage and blue skies. The keycap looks like a tiny biome for Coco, and would likely make a charming addition to any Coco fan's keyboard.

Many fans were quick to Tessa_71 with praise for their creation and expressed curiosity at how it was made. According to the OP, the tiny Animal Crossing villager was printed out with a 3D printer. The fan then painted Coco and the background, poured resin over it, and then perfected the shape and clarity by grinding the resin. Several also asked if it was available for purchase, or if they could request a custom one, to which Tessa_71 replied that they sell these keycaps and others in their Etsy store. A look at their page reveals keycaps based off Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Pokemon, to name a few.

Many PC gamers invest in quality keyboards to give themselves every advantage, as good ergonomics and response time can make a big difference in video games. Even without a fancy keyboard, though, custom accessories like these allow fans to add a little flavor of their favorite games without sacrificing functionality or requiring a huge investment. There are also plenty of options for customizing Nintendo Switch devices with skins and thumb grips. Players have created plenty of ways to celebrate their favorite games and characters without even having to boot up the system.

Although the last update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons was quite some time ago, players clearly have a great fondness for the game even now. It may be some time before another entry to the Animal Crossing series is announced, but fans like these can be relied upon to keep the fandom alive until then.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
